Hello/Goodbye wine bottles designed for Beringer Vineyards as part of my packaging class.
Fun side note: Since it’s not actually legal for me to be carrying around alcohol and empty bottles look stupid, I refilled the white wine bottle with diluted lime juice.
I did this illustration over a year ago for my final project in Culture of the Blues but never really got around to finishing it until recently. It’s a representation of several themes in Gayl Jones’s Corregidora, a novel about a 1920s female blues singer that will make you hate men, though I chose to focus on the generational transition from African to American rather than the anger-based feminism.

Two abstract models inspired by a cucumber to show the relationship between its inside and outside. Both are made without adhesive.
